Take some time out for a few bike rides during your stay at the Yelloh! Village L’Atlantique campsite!

There are all kinds of trails here, for every kind of cyclist: cycle touring along the greenway, the famous GR 34 trail, or one of the many routes starting from the campsite.

Enjoy a mountain bike ride or a spot of gravel biking along the trails of Penfoulic or Mousterlin. L'Atlantique campsite lies at the intersection of over 160 km of cycle paths on car-free routes, offering you endless opportunities for outdoor adventures.

The campsite even has a bicycle hire service and you'll find everything you need to look after your bike (pump, patches, water hose, brush, etc.).

Here are a few suggestions for trips starting from the campsite

The Beg-Meil bocage by bike

An easy ride (8 km, flat) from L’Atlantique campsite, taking you to the small fishing port of Beg-Meil. This route takes you out of the marshes and along the beach almost as far as the coastal signal station. You’ll then pass through the hamlet of Beg-Meil and its chapel. To join the route, exit the campsite, turn right and head towards the beach.

Around the marshes of Mousterlin on foot or by bike

This 8-kilometre walk will take you around the campsite and to the edge of the Mousterlin marshes. You'll also catch a glimpse of the Glénan Islands. It’s a very easy outing, suitable for children. You’ll be able to admire the sweeping view of Cleut Rouz beach. To join the route, turn left out of the campsite towards the beach.

La Pointe de Mousterlin on a gravel bike

A complement to the previous itinerary, and just as easy, this 7-kilometre route takes in the most beautiful sunset on the coast. You should be able to spot some of the bird species characteristic to our shorelines. You'll cycle along 2 beaches: Cleut Rouz and the “white sea” beach.

The itineraries below are just a few kilometres from the campsite:

L'Anse du Petit Moulin for a day spent exploring Bénodet on two wheels

Only slightly longer than the other routes (8 km), this ride will take you along the corniche in Bénodet. This highly popular tourist destination offers uninterrupted views over the large beach just opposite in Sainte-Marine. You'll arrive in the town centre with its many shops and restaurants.

L’anse du saint Laurent

This ride covers almost 10 kilometres, from the centre of La Forêt-Fouesnant to the marina. Please note that the gradient is also relatively steep.

The coves of Beg-Meil

A 10-kilometre ride that takes you along the Beg-Meil coastline and past its wild coves. We love this easy ride, but recommend doing it in the morning when the sun is shining. You will be following a stage of the GR34 trail. Originally, this long-distance footpath meandered further inland. Today, the GR 34 is exclusively coastal.

The “Customs Path”, as it is known, stretches for over 2,000 kilometres along the entire coast of Brittany.

The “white sea” special gravel path

A 12-kilometre ride that takes you around the “white sea” lagoon of Mousterlin opposite Le Letty beach in Bénodet.

Are you a gravel biking fan? This ultra-versatile bike is at home on the road and on rougher terrain. It has a road bike frame and the handlebars of a racing bike but wheels with wider tyres.
